Dancing Choreographer

I've had a few questions, also in interviews, about choreographers who dance in their own choreographies, compositions, and routines: The dancing choreographer.

What are my views on the dancing choreographer?
Well, of course there are ups and downs to being a dancing choreographer:
The good thing about being a dancing choreographer is you get to participate in all the excitement, exhilaration,  you get to be part of the action, and part of the outcome of your own work, if you're going to achieve something why not go the whole nine yards?
Personally, to me, being a dancing choreographer is rewarding mainly because when you are a dancing choreographer dancing in your own choreography you 'feel it', the choreography, along With the other dancers.
That, to me is the whole lot.

The only Con about being a dancing choreographer is that when you are a dancing choreographer you can't sit back, relax, and enjoy your own work.
Some choreographers - the non dancing choreographers much rather do that, but I much rater enjoy the excitement and engagement of the actual choreography.
